Emergencies can happen at any time to any person. The outcome can depend not only on the severity of the injury or illness, but on the first person to respond to the crisis. Being trained in first aid can make the difference.

Avera St. Luke's is offering a Basic First Aid training course, developed by the American Heart Association. This session prepares you to deal with many situations that require immediate, appropriate care. You only need to take the class once; the same class is offered several times throughout the year.
