Avera St. Luke's offers HeartSaver/AED CPR classes for the general public, featuring the new American Heart Association standards, on the first Wednesday of each month. These classes are available for new, first-time participants as well as people seeking to renew their CPR skills.

First-time participants attend a four-hour class that covers adult, child and infant CPR, obstructed airways, and the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED).

Registration Fee: $30

The cost for first-time participants is $60 and covers all materials. The renewal class fees is $30 and includes all materials. The deadline for registration is one week prior to the class, since materials are mailed to participants in advance. Call (605) 622-5588 to sign up.
